‘Very Good’ from Care Inspectorate

Hame fae Hame had an unannounced visit from the Care Inspectorate at the beginning of January 2020. From this inspection, the setting was given a ‘5 – Very Good’ in the two areas being scored – Quality of Care and Support and Quality of Management and Leadership.

It was noted that Hame fae Hame offers “children with a welcoming and care environment where they are nutured by the friendly, caring staff”. The Inspectors particularly liked seeing “Happy smiling faces and busy children enjoying their play”.

New introductions at Hame fae Hame, such as Loose Parts Play, and the Famly App were warmly received by the Inspectors, as was the staff’s evident priority of the wellbeing of the children.

Thanks to our parents who completed a Care Inspectorate survey; they were delighted with an over 90% response rate.
