Payment Information
Our invoices are sent from our Famly system at the end of each month. We ask for payment to be made within 14 days from the date of the invoice. Payment can be made by Family Pay, bank transfer, direct debit, childcare voucher or via PayPal, or in cash.
For paying with cash, you can pay in-person at the nursery. Just speak to a member of the Hame fae Hame team.

We try to keep our charges and fees as reasonable as we can. We charge an hourly rate as below but only charge for the time your child is in our care, to the closest 15mins.
Unlike most nursery and childcare providers we do not charge for holidays and sick days but ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible for both.
We try to be as flexible as possible with parent/carers schedules and work rotas though this is not always possible. We are happy to sit down with you to discuss your requirements and hope we can provide a solution.
Hourly rate: £5.80 (pre-school) and £5.40 (school aged)
Lunch: £1.85
Snack: £0.60
Menu
During term time our meals are supplied from the Scalloway Primary School canteen. When the schools are on holiday we prepare all meals in our own kitchen daily. We work with the school canteen to help plan the menu, taking account of any children with special dietary requirements.
Famly System
When you enrol with us your childrens details will be put on our Famly management system and you will be provided with a log in. This will allow you instant access and communication with Hame Fae Hame for everything you need. The system can be accessed from any device and is app based.
We use Famly to give real time updates on activities and to load photo’s and videos.
You can use Famly to send us messages or update any personal or child information.
Facebook Page
We have a private group for parent and carers only. We use the page to pass on information about Hame Fae Hame and also share photos of what we have been doing (we only share photos of children whose parents/carers have given us permission to do so).
As the group is private you will not be able to search for it. Please contact us via our public page and we will add you to the private group.
Exclusion Criteria for Illness and Infection
We know how easily infections and illnesses can be passed on, particularly in young children. In order to keep Hame Fae Hame as ‘bug free’ as possible, please follow the exclusion times in the document below. If you have any doubt about whether your child should attend due to illness please don’t hesitate to contact us.
